The Bear Creek High School Counseling Department is fully committed to meeting the emotional, academic and social needs of all students. Counselors provide the support, guidance and caring necessary for all of our students to achieve success.

Students are encouraged to go to the counseling office during study hall, lunchtime, off-periods or during class with the approval of the teacher. Students are assigned to counselors alphabetically based on the first letter of their last name.

School counselors help all students:

  • Apply academic achievement strategies.
  • Manage emotions and apply interpersonal skills.
  • Plan for postsecondary options, including higher education, military and the workforce
