Counseling
Welcome to the Bear Creek High School Counseling Department!
We are here to help every Bear Creek student succeed in high school and prepare for their future. Our counseling team is here for you, whether you need help picking classes, planning for college or a career, or just someone to talk to. We want to make sure you have the support you need to feel confident and ready for whatever comes next.
On this website, you’ll find helpful information about many different topics—like signing up for classes, preparing for graduation, finding mental health support, and making the move from middle school to high school. We’re here to help you make good choices and feel strong in your path forward.
Below, you’ll see ways that students and families can get in touch with us. You can schedule an appointment, send us an email, or visit us during our office hours. Please don’t hesitate to reach out; we’re here to help!
Also, take a look at our Monthly Counselor Newsletter to stay on top of upcoming events, deadlines, and other important information.
We look forward to supporting you and being a part of your high school journey!
Getting In Touch With Your Counselors:
We encourage students and families to reach out to us whenever they have questions or need support. Here are the ways you can connect with our counseling team:
- Schedule an Appointment: Meet with your counselor one-on-one to discuss any questions or concerns. Use the contact information below to reach out directly.
- Email or Call Us: Feel free to email or call your counselor with any questions or for more information.
- Visit During Office Hours: Students can stop by the counseling office during their free period or lunch to speak with a counselor in person. If a student is experiencing immediate mental health concerns, please come to the counseling office and ask to speak to a mental health provider immediately.
Our counselors are assigned to students based on the first letter of their last name. If you have two last names, your counselor will be assigned based on the first of those names. You will have the same counselor all four years of high school, so we can get to know you and provide consistent support.
We’re here to help and look forward to connecting with you!
