Bear Creek High School seniors and families: this page provides important information regarding the Class of 2026 graduation, including key dates, events and requirements.

Outstanding Student Fees and Fines
Caps and gowns will not be distributed to Senior students unless all fees and fines have been paid, from all four years of high school.
Please also be aware that our financial secretary (Ms. Gina Shellhorn) will be busy on the day of Senior Checkout, working with students and families who are in the building for checkout. She will not be in her office and will not be able to answer the phone that day to answer questions or take payment.
Seniors! This is important. We urge you to not wait to take care of your fees and fines until the day of Senior Checkout; it will make your day much longer and much more stressful than it needs to be. Start working on this now.
Those needing to view or pay student fines and fees can log in to Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Verify the student is listed and then click the green arrow to be taken to a screen to pay.

- September 10th at 9:30am - Senior Panoramic Picture in the gym
- 9/16 - Academic Letter and Straight A Recognition
- 11/5 - Jostens Graduation meeting (caps and gowns)
- 5/6 & 5/7 - Senior Finals
- 5/7 - Seniors' Last Regular Day of School and Paper Throw
- (Date TBD)- Senior Awards Night
- 5/7 - Senior Celebration in Counseling Center
- 5/11 - Senior Checkout and Cap and Gown Pickup
- Senior Walkthroughs at Feeder Elementary and Middle Schools: May 12th and 13th
- 5/13 - Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal at 12pm in Main Gym
- May 14th at 9:00am - Graduation at Red Rocks (Be at the top of Red Rocks by 8:00am)
Paper Throw, Checkout, and Rehearsal
Senior Paper Throw
On May 7th, as soon as school is over, Seniors will head to the Commons for their Annual Paper Throw.
Senior Checkout (and Cap and Gown Pickup)
Caps and gowns will be distributed in the small gym on Senior Checkout Day, Monday, May 11th. Please arrive that day during your scheduled time, utilizing the following schedule:
- 10:30am-11:30am - Last Names A-E
- 11:30am-12:30pm - Last Names F-L
- 12:30pm-1:30pm - Last Names M-Ri
- 1:30pm-2:30pm - Last Names Rj-Z
To receive their caps and gowns, students must complete their counseling surveys, return their Chromebooks and clear all outstanding fines and fees.

Graduation Rehearsal
Important: All students who plan to participate in graduation at Red Rocks must attend rehearsal to prepare for the ceremony the next day.
Mandatory Graduation rehearsal will take place at noon on (Date TBD) in the BCHS main gym. Students do NOT need to bring or wear their caps and gowns for this event. They simply need to be prompt so we can complete rehearsal in a reasonable amount of time (usually about an hour).
Class of 2025 Graduation Ceremony
Bear Creek High School’s Class of 2025 graduation ceremony will take place at 9:00am on May 14th at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Important: Graduates are to report at 8:00am at the top of the amphitheater to prepare for the ceremony.
There are no tickets required for this event. Students are welcome to invite as many family members and friends as they would like; just please be aware of parking costs per vehicle.
