Mathematics

Jeffco mathematics teaching and learning embraces a problem-based approach, grounded in the belief that every student possesses the potential to master grade-level mathematics. In our program, students learn math by doing math. 

Teachers invite all students to contribute to mathematical learning, center student thinking, and respond as students develop conceptual understanding and essential mathematical skills.

The Math Department at BCHS has courses to meet every student’s needs. We offer multiple honors and Advanced Placement classes, as well as several courses in which students can receive college credit through the CU Succeed Program at CU Denver. Our teachers are dedicated to ensuring success for all students and work diligently with students inside and outside of the scheduled class time.
