BCTN started in 1992 as one of the only broadcast production studios in Jefferson County. Over the years, we have maintained professional standards of production and have evolved with the current technology in video production. We produce four original programs per week, highlighting the people and events at Bear Creek High School. We are always looking for new talent in front of and behind the camera. All students are welcome to join the many students who have gone on to college and careers in TV and film production.

Choir
Here at Bear Creek, we have 4 different choirs. Treble Ensemble and and Tenor/Bass Ensemble are non-auditioned choirs - anyone can join! Onyx and Sounds are advanced ensembles that require an audition to participate.
Throughout the year, choir students participate in a variety of exciting opportunities. In addition to our concerts at the school every year, students prepare and perform Val-o-Grams, travel to festivals, sing in All-County and All-State choirs, as well as a number of other outside performing opportunities. In previous years, we were able to sing the National Anthem at a Nuggets game, perform combined concerts with ensembles such as St. Martin’s Chamber Choir and the MSU Denver Chorale, and the Colorado Repertory Singers. In addition, we have had the privilege of being one of the select high schools to perform The Nutcracker with the Colorado Ballet each year for the past few years.
In choir, you’ll learn to sing with greater skill and confidence in a variety of styles/genres. Our final concert of every year is a Pops Concert, consisting of all modern music, so we learn to sing well in any style you can imagine. At Bear Creek, we have a long-standing tradition of excellence dating back many years. The members of Bear Creek's choirs are committed to highest levels of music making and performance. We are proud to share our music with our school and community and we hope you'll join us.

The National English Honor Society (NEHS), founded and sponsored by Sigma Tau Delta, is a national organization exclusively for high school students and faculty who, in the field of English, merit special note for past and current accomplishments. Service to peers, school, and community is part and parcel of the NEHS mission.
